Hello, everyone!
Yes, I know, it's been awhile since we've posted anyting new. My apologies for that.
We've been thinking a lot about our upcoming trip to Canada. We're really excited, as this time of year is always busy and tiring, thus our hop overseas for family Christmas has occupied much brain space. I'm up early, enjoying the pre-dawn quiet: Rosalee (who's been working like a Banshee making our school a better place) is still sleeping, the city is very quiet, I'm enjoying my fresh-ground King's Coffee and Rosalee's homemade granola.
We're doing really well and enjoying work and play in Kuwait. I have my JV Boys soccer tournament starting today, the culmination of an eight-week season: after this weekend, I'll be temporarily free of after-school commitments and, combined with Rosalee's recent completion of two of her Master's courses, means that our evenings will free up a bit and we can catch up on what we've been too tunnel-vis'd to appreciate (movies, email, reading, etc.).
I'll also post a couple pics from our recent weekend getaway to Cyprus, where we planted ourselves on a beach for a couple of days. Gotta love discount airlines, eh?
The photos are of the sunrise I woke up to two days ago. Lovely.
See you all soon,
B&R
